July 7th, 2013 Hungarian Derby at BudapestKincsemPark_DerbyDay2013 At the beginning of July, we took advantage of a few days in Hungary to enlarge our knowledge of racing abroad. After having visited the training centre close to Budapest, we discovered the race-course of Kincsem Park on the day of the Hungarian Derby. On the photograph you can see Gunnar together with Eva and Albert Klimscha with their apprentice Timar Zsuzsa. June 28th 2013 There won’t be any visit from July 2nd to July 10th. Let’s meet again from July 11th for beautiful mornings on the tracks.
January 22nd, 2013
The landscape in Chantilly is white! There is a lot of snow in Chantilly, and in these circumstances, the all-weather tracks are a blessing for horses to work normally. Les Aigles and Lamorlaye have each their own all-weather tracks, but for the stables situated in Bois Saint Denis who normally train in the forest, it is the all-weather track of the race-course which is used. The technical services of France Galop Chantilly have really worked hard to make the access to the race-course clear and secure. This morning, we saw many horses exercising there: the Fabre (and even Mr. André Fabre on his hack), Windrif, Collet, Clément, Boutin, Botti and Junk.

January 2nd, 2013
Happy New year We wish you all a very Happy New Year and hope you’ll be able to visit Chantilly in 2013. To help you to organise your trip for the best, you can from now on find the racing days at Chantilly and Compiègne on this web site ( “races” heading).

December 23rd, 2012
Happy Christmas We wish you all a very Happy Christmas 2012. There won’t be any holiday for us this winter and we’ll be here to welcome you for visits of the training centre any time you want.

December 21st, 2012
Year 2012 The last racing day 2012 at Chantilly took place on November 27th. After this first year, the evaluation of this new all-weather track is excellent. All the professionals, jockeys and trainers are unanimous on the qualities of this new track. And we already look forward to racing here in March 2013

February 9th, 2012
All-weather track of the race-course Due to severe cold and very negative temperatures, the all-weather track of the race-course is open for work every day this week. We were there this morning and could see about 100 horses cantering (from trainers Robert Collet, C. Boutin, A. Botti, J. Phelippon, B. Renk).

December 22nd 2011
Happy Christmas We wish all of you a very Happy Christmas. Please note that there won’t be any visits between December 28th and January 6th 2012.

December 20th 2011
The works to build the all weather track are practically finished
On tuesday 20th, several trainers (Robert Collet, Criquette Head, Mikel Delzangles and Brigitte Renk) sent horses to canter on the new track. The trials were satisfactory and we have now to wait for the first racing-day on March 3rd 2012.

October 3rd 2011 Works on the Chantilly race-course
Phase 1 excavation of top soil and removal
Phase 2 draining foundation
Phase 3 coat of draining macadam (planned for October)
Phase 4 top coat of “fiber sand” which will be the colour of the sand in the Chantilly forest (planned for November/ December)
At this stage, the timing has been respected and we’ll keep you informed of the progress of the work.
