When and how

When and how

WHEN

Our visits can take place every morning (on week days Saturday included).

We can also organise a visit on Sunday morning, but there are less horses out on Sunday (because of staff ) and the tracks close at 10.30.

Therefore we only do it on Sunday for visitors who have no other opportunity in their schedule, but it is definitely better to do it on a week day.

We decide the time to start together according to:

  • the season
  • whether you are staying in Chantilly or have to come from Paris or elsewhere
  • my suggestions of time to see a maximum of horses

HOW MANY

In order to be able to get close to the horses and to meet professionals without disturbing them in their work, we never take more than 7 visitors at a time.

They are very private visits. If you book for 3 people, you will not be included in a group, but the visit will be organised only for the 3 of you.

If you come by train and have no car, we can pick you up at the station but can only take a maximum of 4 people.

If you are staying in a hotel in Chantilly or around, we can come and pick you up.

POSSIBILITIES

  • a short visit (one hour and a half/ two hours) for a first discovery
  • a full morning with a coffee break included for a more technical visit
  • any other tailor-made visit according to your requirements
  • on top of the morning visit we can also offer you a guided afternoon at the races

ADVISED CLOTHING

  • dress warm in winter (everything is outdoors)
  • whatever the season, rubber boots or proper shoes to walk in sand or on wet grass
  • if it rains, cap or hat (no umbrella)
