October 2015
We had two English visitors for a tour in Normandy.

“I just wanted to thank you and Nicole for an amazing couple of days in Normandy. Myself and Rachel really enjoyed the tour and we have wonderful memories from our visit. Rachel particularly enjoyed the barn full of noisy foals at Coleville, but for me the highlight was seeing Motivator and Youmzain at Quesnay.” Gerry

June 2015
In June we had 12 Australians (all of them breeders or owners or both) for a full week: the landing beaches, Reims, the training centre of Chantilly, a tour of studs in Normandy and the highlight of the week: Prix de Diane in Chantilly. Our visitors were very enthusiastic: “a magic week”, “a terrific tour”!

“Without doubt, your organisational skills were a key part of the success of the time we spent in France. Your willingness to change or organise events or excursions was a major plus for us.” P&C

“Our stud visits were a major highlight with all 3 offering something different, something unexpected and something all of us really enjoyed.” P&C

“Thenney was outstanding. The welcome and commitment they gave our visit was exceptional, making it an educational and very enjoyable visit.” RL

“The morning at track with Trêve and Criquette Head and then with A de Royer-Dupré was fantastic.” RL

2014 visitors from Australia

“Thanks so much for taking us around Chantilly today. The trackwork trip was the whole reason I travelled 16500 km around the world! You have such an indepth knowledge of French racing, thanks for sharing it with us.” Gina
August 2013

August 2013 was under the sign of Australia (just like August last year). On top of the visit of the Chantilly training centre, our Aussies wanted to have a real insight in racing and breeding in France. In August it means racing in Deauville, visits of studs ( Haras du Quesnay, Haras de Bourgeauville, visits to trainers ( M Nigge in Deauville, Jennifer Bidgood in her new training centre in Normandy), visit of the Arqana sales ground.

Considering they were there for a limited time and came from so far away, we did our best to show them as much as possible and to introduce them to many professionals. And their complimentary letter was up to the pleasant time we had with them:

“the arrangements you made were over and above what we were expecting. Also we were expecting to have one guide who knew something about racing, not two who were experts at many aspects of racing and with so many relevant contacts.” P.M

April 1st 2013

The courageous visitors who came on this very cold monday morning sent us very good photographs (signed Jean Marc Paillous) after their day in Chantilly.

We are pleased to show you some of them

Our Turkish visitors, the family Ozturk from Istanbul were thrilled with the training tracks in the forest, the quietness and the beauty of the surroundings.

Arc week-end 2012

Our Swedish visitors Alf and Margareta Dorselius enjoyed their visit on Les Aigles very much. They were quite interested in meeting trainers, Alain de Royer-Dupré on Les Aigles, Robert Collet and Rupert Pritchard-Gordon in the forest.
Summer 2012

Is it the consequence of Américain’s win and Dunaden’s win in the Melbourne Cup??? but our summer was under the colours of Australia.

In June we had a group of visitors from Ambassador Travel from Brisbane. They were professionals and race-goers discovering training and racing in Europe. Then in July we had Tony, an independant visitor with a terrific knowledge of racing.

In July we had also Steve Ryan and his nice family discovering Chantilly thanks to brother Bernard.

In September we had David Hines and his family ready to start

"Gunnar, this brings you the warmest and greatest appreciation from “Golf and More”. Even for seasoned race-goers, you opened up a world of detail about training horses. The Compiègne semi-nocturne could not have gone better. Thank you so much for your friendly approach and knowledge." Francis Davis

"We had a fantastic day with you on Saturday, thank you so much for your enthusiasm, patience and great knowledge. I have always wanted to see the horses exercising in the morning in Chantilly and I was entranced, as we all were, by the beauty and drama of it. Huge thanks for organising it and making it happen.” Alicia Drake

“Gunnar and Nicole, just a quick mail to let you know that our visit to Chantilly exceeded all our expectations. Muriel is absolutely delighted with her visit to the grass and the forest. May I thank both of you for your kindness, consideration and the wonderful experience. Rest assured that if we hear of anyone wanting to visit Chantilly, we will make sure they have your card and our highest recommendation.” Adrian and Jennifer Brenton
